Since January 2000, Hand in Hand Multicultural Center has extended its services to hundreds of people around Springfield and Southwest Missouri. We began in a corner of the home of one of our founders. That was the office, room for English Classes, counseling center, place for children’s tutoring classes and medical mission trip plans. No checking account or money to spend, almost nothing for resources to share with others, but a BIG desire to reach the unreached and to serve the unserved.
After these ten years the growth and contributions of Hand in Hand are visible in the community. Hand In Hand Multicultural Center is recognized in the community as an organization with the capability to reach and serve ethnic minorities in the area. Hundreds of lives have been touched and reached with a message of hope, faith, and love.
